How you can get involved There are many ways you can help in the campaign to prevent this proposed destruction of the canyon. ROAR is made up entirely of volunteers, so every level of help does go toward making an impact. Respond to the DEIS by Sept. 14, 2010! This is the most critical moment in the permitting process. Your voice does make a difference, but there are some specific guidelines to give your input maximum effect. READ THIS, then submit your specific response before Sept. 14. Everything is done by volunteers who are passionate about preserving the quality of life and environment in the Arkansas River's Bighorn Sheep canyon. All membership fees and other donations are applied directly and exclusively to the direct costs of accomplishing this mission. There are no administrative costs. We have found great strength and influence in this coordinated coalition. We invite you to join our effort.

River) List of Agencies involved in the permitting process: Even though the “official deadline” for comments to the BLM has closed, Roy Masinton, director of the Canon City office, stated that he would continue to allow input.
